If a disagreement arises between the parent and other team members, it is advisable to attempt to resolve the issue at the lowest level possible before escalating it. The recommended sequence for resolution is:

  • Start with the teacher.

  • If unresolved, approach the Principal or School Director.

  • If the issue persists, contact the District-level Special Education personnel.

  • As a last resort, reach out to the Superintendent or the Local Charter Board President.
