Morgan's Wonderland in San Antonio is renowned for its inclusive theme and water park, but its commitment to accessibility doesn’t stop there. Just steps away at 5210 Thousand Oaks Drive, the Multi-Assistance Center (MAC) extends this ethos further. This expansive facility collaborates with various community organizations to offer both medical and non-medical services tailored for people with disabilities.

At the heart of the MAC is a dedicated Navigator assigned to each child and their caregivers. These Navigators are pivotal in seamlessly connecting families to a range of specialized services, from dental care to haircuts—common challenges for children with autism spectrum disorder. For example, an eight-year-old who struggled to sit still for dental x-rays finally succeeded under the guidance of his MAC Navigator, marking a significant breakthrough.

The MAC doesn’t just stop at healthcare. It includes amenities like a fully accommodating salon among many other thoughtful features designed to foster independence and comfort for all visitors.

San Antonio's reputation for embracing diversity is perfectly reflected in the operations of the MAC. I encourage you to learn more about this remarkable facility at morgansmac.org/what-is-the-mac and experience firsthand the comprehensive support Morgan’s Wonderland continues to offer our community.
